DESCRIPTION:IMAGINE 22 – Die Konferenz der IKT-Community Österreichs geht in die nächste Runde! \nAm Event 2021 waren bereits 100 Sprecher\, 380 Zuseher und 4 Tonnen technisches Material für die Live-Übertragung aus dem Wiener Nordlicht beteiligt\, wobei ein sehr vielfältiges Programm\, das von einer kritischen Keynote des Sozialpsychologen Harald Welzer über das literarische Quartett „Pandora’s Box“\, über von Jugendlichen präsentierten Zukunftsszenarien\, Einblicken in die digitale Küche\, AI in den Medien\, der Call-Eröffnung des BMK-Förderprogramms „AI for Green“\, bis hin zu Workshops zu den Themen „Digital Champions of the Earth – AI for Green“\, „Stay Healthy“\, „Gesundheitsdaten“\, „Distancing&Robotics“\, „Smart Cities&Regions“ und vielem mehr einen breiten Bogen spannte. \nAufgrund des großen Erfolges steht 2022 nun die nächste Episode der IMAGINE in den Startlöchern\, ganz nach dem Motto „Be the Change“. \nIntegriert in das Programm ist ebenso der  Austrian Data Day\, organisiert von der Data Intelligence Offensive (DIO). \n  \nBesonders möchten wir dabei auf den Vortrag „Photonics for recycling and the circular economy“ von Arno Grabher Meyer aufmerksam machen\, der von 17:30 – 18:30 im Workshop-Raum 1 stattfinden wird. \n  \nDas gesamte Programm finden Sie unter: IMAGINE Programm 2022 \nMehr allgemeine Informationen dazu unter: www.imagine-ikt.at

DESCRIPTION:Have your say – Photonics Partnership kicks off Strategic Research Agenda process for Horizon Europe! \nJoin the biggest photonics community event in Europe and learn about financing opportunities and major policy initiatives like the Chips Act. \nThe Photonics Partnership Annual Meeting has become the foremost high-level event for the European photonics industry\, attended by more than 300 representatives including CEOs\, heads of research institutions and representatives from the European Commission and EU Member States. \nPhotonics21 President Dr Lutz Aschke\, Managing Director Mahr Group\, will open the summit with a formal address on 30th June\, discussing opportunities and challenges for photonic technologies. \nThis year’s event will have as its dedicated focus the financing of innovative photonics start-ups and SMEs. Hermann Hauser\, serial entrepreneur\, co-founder of Amadeus Capital Partners and initiator of the European Innovation Council\, and Brendan McDonagh\, Senior Advisory at the European Investment Bank\, will provide insights into financing gaps and opportunities. \nA distinguished speaker from the European Commission will provide the latest insights on the European Chips Act\, how it will impact the photonics ecosystem and how to get involved. Moreover\, you will receive the newest information on upcoming Horizon Europe calls in photonics. \nOn Day 2\, the photonics community will launch the strategy process for a new photonics multi-year roadmap for the second half of Horizon Europe.
